Where you want to be

I came across this picture today on 9gag.com; it struck me. Life is what you make of it, but nobody every shows you how to make it. At school your learn knowledge, at work your learn skills, but who ever taught you how to find out what you wanted from life? The biggest question of all goes unanswered for many, because they do not know where to begin looking.

That is why I started my company Insightz. My passion is to see people grow and live their passion! I give people tools and show them how they can find out themselves what it is they want from life. And at the moment they find out… WOW! That moment is what I do it for!

I combined my passion of seeing people grow with another passion of mine: social media and its possibilities. This is where I have my niche market. I finally figured it out :-)

iEnjoyed iStrategy Berlin 2010

wow! I met some fantastic people at iStrategy. Just on the train back to Amsterdam now and replaying the movie of the last 2 days in my head. The big smile on my face just doesn’t want to go away!

This was the first strategy conference. you could see that the organisers were learning (as is everybody in social media). The program was adapted on the spot to the needs of the audience, which caused a good chemistry. The main thing I took away from this event was that social media is only 4 years old.It is a greenfield and nobody knows the rules. Trial-and-error, invest loads of time and listen/act to what feedback you are getting.

To put it in the words of Twitter:

iStrategy 2010 – Berlin

Traveling to Berlin today to see my friend Lars Hilse speak at iStrategy 2010, the yearly gathering for Business, Marketing, Business Development, IT and Creative professionals involved in all aspects of online media and strategic management positions.

With all the big names attending this event, I am very keen to learn what is new in internet land and what the latest trends are. Gotta run!
